Recently I have become interested in online backup solutions. After a quick Google search I discovered that there are several low cost solutions available. What are the pros and cons of these services? How reliable are they? What is the true cost of the online backup services? How Secure are these backup solutions?
The first site that I have come across is Mozy:
www.mozy.com They were the first organic search result when I did a search on google. Seems like a good place to start. Mozy will give you 2 GB for free or you can pay $5/month for unlimited backups. I check several review articles from PC magazine and others they had good things to say. One comment was that they were slow to upload the data. Other articles had no mention of this.
